We at Cosmia Festival are passionate about making the changes in our lives and society that can help stem, and in the long term reverse, the worse effects of man-made climate change. Our environmental policy outlines the ways that the festival wants to operate to do this, but we know the problem is much much bigger.
At Cosmia Festival 2019 we launched a new initiative, the Movement for Responsible Fandom and we're hoping that you want to join us.
We think that fandom needs to re-think how we celebrate the things we love. We're as guilty of anyone of buying plastic figures, and items covered in shrink wrap. There must be a better way.
The Movement for Responsible Fandom is a place for fans, retailers, manufacturers, researchers and the creative industries to come together to find new ways for everyone to show appreciation for what they love, and keep businesses getting paid.
